So I haven’t blogged in a couple of days because I have been sick. Anyway the talk with Osama yesterday did not go the way I hoped but nonetheless I think the conversation ended in conviction. I was talking with him showing him various similarities in the Koran and the Bible. That was going OK but I started asking him about the story of Abraham and his son (you cannot say Isaac because Muslims think that it was Ishmael). I asked him what he thought about that story and when I did he told me that was not able to talk to me about the Koran because he spoke very little English. I wasn’t sure why he said that because we had just spent about 30 minutes talking about the Koran and the Bible. I took that as a time to stop and leave so I plan on coming back one day next week.
That’s the story of Osama but hopefully that will go OK next week. I ask that you continue to pray for him and me as I go talk to him next week. I will keep you updated on the story and will let you know the outcome of the next encounter.

Your Dad emailed me about the trip you are on. I think what you are doing is great and I am very proud of you!!
I will be praying for you and Osama. Keep the faith Brother. All that is required of us is to be obedient, which is what you are doing.
Remember Isaiah 55:11 “so shall my word be that goes out form my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
God is able to use things in ways we can’t even fathom. Just keep up the good work.
